t’s long been known that the brain communicates with the gut-think of “gut-wrenching” moments or “following your gut”-but recent research suggests the brain-gut connection actually goes both ways. For example, anxiety and stress are psychological concerns. Together, “our two brains” play a key role in certain diseases in our bodies and overall health. Researchers have discovered that a lesser known nervous system in our guts (our “second brain”) communicates with the brain in our head. How can we balance these three brains so they can co-operantly work together to maintain a healthy and vibrant life?. We have 3 brains: the head, the heart and the gut. After reading the Brain Balancing Protocol, Andrea Miller asked, “how as a dowser do you work with the brain/gut connection as I have heard they are interrelated?” This is a great question and it got me thinking.
