![]() ![]() its like a new toy or novelty currently and within the next 18 months you will see it taper off as msn and other sponsors will start leaving and it will simply be just "another game" I tried steam once back when I bought the wk mod and it sucked really bad for gaming, massive laggg and just crappy by comparison to here. If you played ranked matches lately, the issue might be related to the ELO bug, where the rating doesn't change after most matches. as for "the pros", who cares? they all followed the money to be had from msn and other game supporters and didn't go to actually play DE for its "greatness" DE is a Ripoff from AoE 3 and AoM in its graphics, play style, match making, and everything else. When you're playing only unranked, your not ranked anywhere. voobly wont be spending any money to update servers and neither will msn for the low amount of population we have here so just enjoy AoC / WK and the dumb 'DE mod' we have for. The official AOE Twitter account confirmed that both Steam and Microsoft Store players will be able to interact. Actually voobly had and has continued to "die" as you put it but it wont die off unless the staff / owner here pulls the plug, most remaining players are die hard AoC or WK or Voobly fans and the game has been around more then 2 decades and going strong. per friends who play DE religiously now the game doesn't lag due to the dedicated 'private' servers, they wont be coming here and the game will be uber laggy as its system requirements are far higher then aoe2's are. Age of Empires: Definitive Edition will be the latest title to support this feature. ![]()
